10 year anniversary outing to Hawkstone Park 11th to13th September.

The committee was unanimous in that the outing was a great success. The hotel, catering, and most importantly both golf courses were excellent. The 32 members were treated to dry if breezy weather. The Hawkstone course yielded the better scoring whilst the Championship course was a tough test especially after 2 days of golf and après golf!!.

The opening competition on Sunday on the Hawkstone course was an individual Stableford and team event. The winning team composed of Phil Bennett, Bill Payne, Dave Pearce, & Duncan Beale returning a very creditable score of 107 points. The individual competition was a tie between Bobby Hooper and Michele Petruzzerlli both on 39 points.

Annual Day Monday (Hawkstone Course).
A very competitive day in windy conditions resulted in the following winners.
Seniors Trophy: Bernie Beale on 37 points.
Ian Lamb Trophy: Bobby Hooper on 36 points.
Ladies Trophy: Elizabeth- Milnes James on 28 points .
Individual Stableford: Bernie Beale on 37 points.
Founders Cup: Bernie Beale on 37 points.
Gross Competition: Won by Geoff Doran.

Tuesday (Championship Course)
The final day was an individual Stableford and a Bowmaker team game.
The Bowmaker winning team were Andy Beale, Brian Downey, Maggie McDivitt & Tom Jelfs.
The individual winner was Elizabeth Milnes-James on a magnificent 40 points.

Congratulation to all the winners and well played 32 members of the Bell Inn GS.
Finally a big thank you to Neville and team for providing such brilliant sweaters which certainly were too good to play golf in!!!


                                           Next Outing
 Naunton Downs GC on Friday 4th November 2011.
Meet at NDGC for registration and bacon rolls and coffee at 9.00am.1st tee time 10.00am
Format will be an individual Stableford & Yellow ball team event.
Cost of the day is £35.  To be paid by 28th October at the latest.
Dinner dress code: smart causal

                                     Annual Day 2012.
An Email has been sent to all members advising that this will be held at St. Pierre Hotel on 24th & 25th June. Please advise Warren within the next week if you can attend as rooms need to be confirmed.

                         Theme Night 19th November 2011
The theme for this year is CIRCUS so use your imaginations!!
Tickets will be £15 per person (Cash only please) to include a buffet menu.
Tickets will be available from 1st October at The Bell Inn.
