Just a reminder that the annual subs of £25 are due for payment by 4th March latest.

Membership
The committee regret to record that Graham Austin and Andy Barker have resigned from the society.
10 year Anniversary outing to Hawkstone Park 11-13th September 2011
Bookings for this event is now final with 33 members having paid the £80 non- refundable deposit.
Tee times are confirmed as follows:-
Sunday – Hawkstone course 1st tee time 11.04am
Monday – Hawkstone Course Annual Day 1st tee time 9.44am
Tuesday – Championship Course – 1st tee time 9.44am

Competition formats.

Sunday – Team betterball together with an individual Stableford – qualifer for McWolder Cup

Monday – Annual Day – For the normal trophies – qualifier for McWolder Cup

Tuesday – Team Bowmaker – No individual competition.

Further details will be advised to the members after the next committee meeting in April.

AGM- 2010 Another Successful Year for the Society

The AGM took place on 7th February and was attended by 29 Members.
In his report the Chairman said 2010 had been another successful year for the Society with events both on and off the golf course being well attended.
2011 is a special year for the Society , celebrating its 10th anniversary with three days at Hawkstone Hark GC. This is in addition to the seven other outings including three new venues.
The annual subscription will remain unchanged at £25 and is to be paid before 4th March 2011.
The closing date for the 2011 match play competition entries is 1st March (£2 singles and £5 pairs).
The full committee was re-elected unopposed.
The date for the 2011 Theme Night has been set for 19th November.
At the end of the meeting the Chairman presented the Andrew Mcdonald Tropties for the best four stableford rounds to:-
Winner Mike Barnes (average 36.25 points)
Runner up Warren McDivitt (average 35.75 points)

Match Play Competitions.

The match play competitions will follow the format of previous years.
The closing date for entries is 1st march for both Singles (£2 entry fee) and pairs (£5 entry fee).
